"I bought a new laptop at the store and asked them to copy my photos and documents from the old one. No one contacted me when it was done. Found out later they did not copy the data to my new computer and I could not access the files on my old one. I had to take it to the Lancaster store where they immediately solved the access problem and copied my files from the old laptop to the new one. Crappy service at the Reynoldsburg store"

"Ordered dishwasher Nov 6. supposed to be installed Nov 10 but due to new flooring I had to do some changes. they came back after that on Nov 17 and said it wasn't good enough. (later confirmed it was fine). Paid lots of money for someone to come out and remove two rows of hardwood floor and rescheduled delivery for Nov 20 They kept confirming delivery. But then someone called me and said that was just confirming install not delivery (none of the confirmations said this). So now they are going to try to figure out when they can come out. and yiu can never talk to anyone at the store. they keep routing you to corporate and they are clueless. Not sure when if ever I will get this delivered. If I can get it from somewhere else I will cancel this order. Not that they care at all"

"If you need computers and electronic supplies, this is the place to come to in Columbus. It is truly the supermarket of technology.\n\nThere is a large and dedicated audiovisual section. You will also find a huge variety of gaming supplies. Office and Personal computing, cell phones, laptops, and tablets, and so much more. \n\nNeed some kind of obscure cable or power supply for Home, office, or vehicle? They've probably got it. \n\nDo you need something for regular or 3-D printing? This is a good place to start. They have a lot of those things here too.\n\nAudiovisual presentation materials? They've got you covered. \n\nRobust website for searching out what you are looking for. Chances are you can either find what you need in the store or they can get it for you. \n\nSuper helpful people at the customer service counter in the front of the store. You will note that there is a queue of customers in line to check out most times, but this line moves incredibly fast."

"Went online and looked up a business that can replace my iPhone battery. Heath Best Buy and their geek squad popped up so I set an appointment for 7/26/24 to have it replaced. A few hours beforehand they call me saying they are a drop off (shipping) location only. No where on the website does it say that. Very unprofessional and caused me to take time off work for nothing. Never again"

What does the word "most" mean? - English Language & Usage Stack Exchange
Most is defined by the attributes you apply to it. "Most of your time" would imply more than half, "the most time" implies more than the rest in your stated set. Your time implies your total time, where the most time implies more than the rest. I think "most" leads to a great deal of ambiguity.

Most is vs most are - English Language & Usage Stack Exchange
Most is what is called a determiner. A determiner is "a word, such as a number, article, personal pronoun, that determines (limits) the meaning of a noun phrase." Some determiners can only be used with either a countable noun or an uncountable noun, while others, like most, can be used with both countable and uncountable nouns. Uncountable nouns usually take a singular verb. So, in your ...

In your example, books ARE what you have read most, so I would agree that in diagrammatic reasoning most of what you've read ARE books. Of all of the various materials I've read, most ARE books. Therefore, because MOST refers to books, and BOOKS is a plural noun, I'm sorry to say that your friend is correct.

"Most of which" or "most of whom" or "most of who"?
Since "most of _____" is a prepositional phrase, the correct usage would be "most of whom." The phrase "most of who" should probably never be used. Another way to think about the difference between the subjective/objective pronouns is to revise the sentence to include a personal pronoun and see which form (he/him or she/her or they/them) fit.
