Kilmar Abrego Garcia has surrendered to U.S. immigration authorities in Baltimore. He faces possible efforts by the Trump administration to deport him to Uganda after his fight to stay in the U.S.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man who was unlawfully deported to El Salvador earlier this year, will gather with members of his family, immigration activists, community leaders and elected officials at a rally in Baltimore on Monday morning as the Trump administration warns it could send him to Uganda as soon as this week.

Abrego, wrongfully deported to a notorious prison in El Salvador, now faces removal to Uganda just a day after being freed from a Tennessee jail.
