The Auburn Tigers and the Troy Trojans will meet on the gridiron for the first time ever, it was announced Thursday, but you’ll have to wait to see it.
AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - For the first time ever, the Auburn Tigers will face off against the Troy Trojans in football! The matchup is slated for Saturday, September 6, 2031, at Jordan Hare Stadium.
Troy and Auburn will play each other in football for the first time when the Trojans travel to Jordan-Hare Stadium in 2031. The two programs will meet on Sept. 6, 2031, Troy Director of Athletics Kyle George announced Thursday.
Auburn has also added FCS Austin Peay, Georgia Southern, and North Alabama to its schedule for future seasons. Austin Peay will come to the plains in 2027, and with North Alabama
Auburn continues to finalize its future non-conference opponents, with Troy and Georgia Southern becoming the sixth addition to their next five years of scheduling.
