Justin Rose met the occasion during the first leg of the 2025 FedEx Cup Playoffs, taking home not only the St. Jude Championship crown but a whopping $3.6 million winner's check as well. That same winner's prize was be on the line this week at the 2025 BMW Championship as part of a $20 million purse that will be divided amongst 48 of the top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings after one player withdrew before the tournament and another before the fourth round began.
Scottie Scheffler discussed his impressive chip-in birdie during his BMW Championship victory on Sunday. "It looked good when it landed, looked good when it was rolling, and it was nice to see that one go in," Scheffler said, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN ).
Ben Griffin got off to a terrible start at the BMW Championship on Sunday. Griffin opened the final round of the FedExCup Playoffs event in Maryland by going 6-over through his first three holes of the day. He made a triple-bogey on the first hole, too.
Jim Harbaugh (whose lawyer mocked the NCAA) received a 10-year show-cause, and Connor Stalions received an eight-year show-cause. Denard Robinson received a three-year show-cause. Basically, none of these guys will be coaching college football any time soon.
