The Chicago Bears picked tight end Colston Loveland out of the University of Michigan at No. 10 for their first round pick Thursday night. Loveland was born and raised on a farm in the small town of Bliss, Idaho. He grew up wrangling horses and raising sheep but also loved basketball and football.

While Loveland wore number 18 for the Michigan Wolverines, the rookie tight end will be donning a new number with the Bears. Loveland will wear number 84, according to NFL Jersey Numbers. The last Bears player that was assigned 84 was Miles Boykin, who signed a one-year deal this offseason.
