Chicago Sky star Angel Reese returned to action on Tuesday for the first time since late July after dealing with a back injury, but she was still limited in how much she could play.

Reese dropped a team-high 19 points and had seven rebounds in their 94-88 loss to the Seattle Storm at Wintrust Arena on Tuesday. She shot 9-of-13 from the field, too. It marked her first game back in several weeks while dealing with a back injury. Reese was on a minutes restriction and played in just 26 despite being in the starting lineup.

Reese went 9-for-13 in her return, restoring the Sky’s competitive edge. But she also hinted at a bumpy recovery process.
