A quickly growing fire in Riverside County torched more than 500 acres of land and prompted evacuation orders on Monday, according to authorities. Dubbed the Juniper Fire, it was initially reported at 11:28 a.

The Wolf Fire, a quickly-growing brush fire, broke out near Banning, Riverside County, prompting a mandatory evacuation order.

On Sunday, along with the Wolf Fire, the Mandalay Fire, which is 83 acres, broke out near homes in Riverside. Officials issued evacuation orders, which have since been lifted. The Mindy Fire also erupted and grew to 100 acres before crews stopped forward progress, getting 70% contained.
