Massachusetts will see its first real snowfall of the season late on Saturday night as cold air and a coastal system move in, with snow continuing into Sunday., US News, Times Now

On Sunday at 6:55 p.m. a special weather statement was issued by the National Weather Service until 10 p.m. for Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.

A quick-moving system will bring at least an inch of snow to Greater Boston and areas south, making for a snowy Patriots-Bills matchup.

A dusting of snow is possible across parts of Massachusetts overnight on Tuesday, Dec. 9, after a frigid start to the day. As Arctic air continues to sit over the region, it's an unseasonably cold start to the day. This evening, light snow showers are expected to move into Bay State, primarily in Western and Central Massachusetts.

An updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 1:24 p.m. valid from 10 p.m. until Sunday 7 p.m. for Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.

Snow is forecast for Massachusetts on Tuesday, Dec. 2, and the first batch of flakes is on its way, according to the National Weather Service.
