Referee David Guthrie told pool reporter Coty Davis of the Detroit News that "a foul should have been called" on Knicks forward Josh Hart for the contact he made with Pistons guard Tim Hardaway Jr. when he attempted a buzzer-beating three-pointer.

Referees missed Detroit’s Tim Hardaway Jr. getting fouled by New York’s Josh Hart on the final play of the Pistons’ playoff matchup against the Knicks on Sunday, the NBA acknowledged shortly after the game ended.

The Pistons couldn't hold onto a 4th-quarter lead again, as they fell to the Knicks, 94-93, to fall into a 3-1 series deficit.
