The New York City mayor's race candidates honed in on fighting crime and prostitution after the mass shooting took quality of life issues front and center.

A new skyscraper could be coming to the ever-evolving Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood. New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced the public review phase of a project that could replace the existing office building at 395 Flatbush Ave.

Over the next decade, Bojangles will expand throughout New York, beginning with its inaugural Brooklyn location.

The state says the move will expand protections for swimming and fishing to more than 90% of New York City's waterways.
