Bueckers broke the franchise rookie season record for assists with 143 and scored her 500th career point, but it wasn’t enough to beat Los Angeles.
In addition to her assist record, Bueckers also reached 500 career points on Friday, becoming the 22nd rookie to accomplish that feat. No one in Wings franchise history has gotten to 500 points faster than Bueckers, who needed just 27 games to hit the milestone.
