The Philippine consulate warned against donating to unverified fundraisers that may be exploiting the tragedy in Canada.

At least 11 people were killed when a man drove through a crowd at a Filipino community festival in Vancouver on Saturday evening, Canadian police said.

"We're all shaken up knowing that the people around us may not be alive," said a Seattle man who was at the Vancouver festival with his family the night of the car ramming attack.
