The Los Angeles Lakers will finally welcome Luka Doncic to their lineup on Tuesday when they face the Phoenix Suns in NBA preseason action. Doncic had been held out of their first three preseason games as a precaution after he participated in EuroBasket 2025 over the summer for his native Slovenia.

Even with this interesting starting lineup, the Warriors can make some noise against a Lakers team that could be playing with both LeBron James and Luka Doncic. While this is not necessarily what fans want from a Warriors versus Lakers matchup, it will give both sides an opportunity to see what their supporting cast can do in an exhibition game.
