Lady Vols basketball projected to finish fourth in SEC during 2025-26 season
Tennessee is projected to finish fourth in the 2025-26 SEC women's basketball standings, behind South Carolina, Texas and LSU, in the media's preseason all-league and preseason poll voting. Talaysia Cooper was also selected to the All-SEC Second Team.
Bella Flemings, who's ranked No. 16 in the 2026 class, has committed to Duke over Lady Vols basketball. Baylor, TCU and Miami were also finalists.
Tennessee has been picked by SEC media to finish third and Vanderbilt 11 th in the SEC men’s basketball standings this season. The Vols are coming off a 2024-25 season that saw the team go 30-8, reach an NCAA Regional Final and finish No. 5 in the final AP poll.

2025-26 Lady Vols basketball schedule, TV, tipoff times
The Lady Vols' first home game is slated for Nov. 7 versus East Tennessee State. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST at Food City Center (SEC Network+).
