President Trump’s refashioned board of trustees voted him chairman and replaced the Kennedy Center’s president Deborah Rutter with Trump ally Richard Grenell.

Producer Shonda Rhimes, who was appointed by President Barrack Obama and was serving as treasurer, announced her resignation Wednesday. Singer-songwriter Ben Folds also resigned as artistic adviser of the National Symphony Orchestra, and singer Renee Fleming also would step down as artistic adviser to the center.

Singer-songwriter Ben Folds also resigned from his position as artistic director of the National Symphony Orchestra, the Kennedy Center’s artistic affiliate. The orchestra has performed at the Kennedy Center since the facility opened in 1971.
