The Los Angeles Lakers have signed veteran free-agent center Alex Len to bolster their frontcourt depth after their failed attempt to acquire Charlotte center Mark Williams.

Len was waived by the Wizards after a deadline trade and it initially seemed like he would be joining the Pacers

With Anthony Davis in Dallas (not to mention injured) and the Mark Williams trade rescinded, the Lakers were down to one center on their regular roster, Jaxson Hayes. Which is why the Lakers signed Alex Len off the buyout market on Tuesday,
