Weather experts say South Florida is falling back into a typical summertime weather pattern with high ‘feels-like’ temperatures and scattered afternoon thunderstorms.

While rain won't be nearly as widespread as what happened over the holiday weekend, there will be a 30% chance for afternoon storms in Broward and inland Miami-Dade. The main timeframe for these storms will be between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

South Florida will see daytime highs of about 90 degrees today with a chance of afternoon storms. This is the average pattern for the area this time of the year. Sea breeze and daytime heating will drive the afternoon storm chances. With the humidity 90 degree highs will feel like 103 degrees or so. High heat indices will persist this week.
