The Senate is set to return Monday after a five-week recess, and it is still unclear if GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell will end his three-month absence from the Capitol due to health issues.

Mitch McConnell may be returning to work as early as next week, according to reports. McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, was hospitalized June 14, but his office waited weeks to disclose that it was because of a fall and mild pneumonia.
