A former Patriots champ is heading to his seventh Super Bowl after moving to one of the hardest positions in football.

Ever since the New England Patriots hired Mike Vrabel to be their head coach, his staff has been taking shape, and there have been some significant changes. Their latest involves the departure of a longtime member of their staff who is one of the few remaining links to their dynasty teams.

Reid notched his 28th career postseason win after the Chiefs’ AFC championship victory over the Buffalo Bills and is just three away from Belichick’s record of 31 for most ever for an NFL head coach. The Chiefs coach has six total Super Bowl appearances to Belichick’s nine.

Once again, Josh McDaniels will fill the New England Patriots offensive coordinator position. As expected, the team is hiring McDaniels after speaking with him Tuesday, according to CBS Sports lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones. The Patriots made the move official on Wednesday.
