The Professional Women’s Hockey League announced Wednesday it will expand to Seattle beginning with the 2025-26 season, bringing the league’s total to eight teams after its second year.

The PWHL will expand to eight teams next season by adding Seattle as its second new franchise alongside Vancouver.
