Two Carnival Cruise Line guests drowned on Aug. 15 at Celebration Key in the Bahamas, one while snorkeling and the other in a pool. Both were American and had arrived on different cruises.

Two American Carnival Cruise Line passengers drowned just hours apart at the newly opened Celebration Key resort in The Bahamas on Friday.

Celebration Key is the Carnival Cruise Line's private resort in the Bahamas. The island has more than 30 venues, including dining and for cocktails, and it's heavily promoted on the cruise ship line's website.
