The sale hit a snag when eBay found that it had violated the auction site's "violence and violent criminals" policy.

Heuermann's ex-wife Asa Ellerup was allegedly trying to sell the accused killer's 1972 Jeep and trailer to the highest bidder.

"If you are a true crime buff, this Jeep and trailer have quite a history," the eBay listing read. EBay later took the posting down.
