Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Riley Leonard and NFL Hall of Fame candidate Phillip Rivers are now teammates. However, the two have a pre-existing relationship. As was detailed this offseason at Colts.com, Leonard's parents live in Fairhope, Alabama, which also happens to be where Rivers calls home.

The Colts have already lost Daniel Jones for the year. Now, backup quarterback Riley Leonard is dealing with a knee injury of his own.

Rivers turned 44 years old on Monday, and if he's signed by the Colts, he'll become the oldest active player in the league. It was originally reported that Rivers was going to come in for a workout on Tuesday, but it appears the team actually watched him throw on Monday instead.
