Coming off her maiden LPGA victory at the Standard Portland Classic last week, Japan's Akie Iwai leads by two strokes following the first round of the CPKC Women's Open in Mississauga, Ont.
This marks the first time that historic Mississaugua Golf and Country Club has hosted the championship on the LPGA.

According to the LPGA Tour, Altomare is one of only five mothers currently playing on the tour. The others are Stacy Lewis, Caroline Masson, Azahara Munoz and Sophia Popov. The other mothers are on maternity leave or have announced their retirements.
The LPGA Tour will take to Mississaugua Golf and Country Club for the CPKC Women’s Open. The 156-player field includes eight past champions including defending champions Lauren Coughlin.
