Now comes a report in TBR Football which claims Diaz has issued his club with TWO demands during this summer transfer window. The first demand is that he would like a new contract on significantly improved terms. Interested clubs have been informed that Diaz is seeking around £140k to £150k per week in contract negotiations.

There is thought to be interest from Saudi Arabia, while Barcelona sporting director Deco openly named Díaz as a target earlier this summer. The Catalan giants could be even more inclined to pursue the 28-year-old after getting snubbed by Athletic Club forward Nico Williams.
