Oasis represented Manchester City throughout the opening night of their reunion tour in Cardiff. Friday was the first of 41 shows on the Oasis Live '25 Tour as part of the band's reunion after 16 years apart.

Oasis began its comeback tour on Friday night in Cardiff in front of a sold-out crowd at Principality Stadium. During the show, the band paid its respects to late Liverpool forward Diogo Jota.

The Gallaghers — arguably the most well-known Manchester City supporters — performed "Live Forever" while displaying images of Jota in his Liverpool kit on the video boards. The 28-year-old soccer star was laid to rest on Saturday morning in Portugal after was killed along with his brother André Silva in a devastating car crash earlier this week.
