It’s no secret that Dallas Mavericks fans are incredibly upset at the blockbuster trade that sent franchise star Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. In the immediate aftermath of the trade, Mavericks fans staged a protest outside of the arena.

The Dallas Mavericks made one of the most shocking trades in sports history when they sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for a package that included Anthony Davis and Max Christie. Nobody knew the Mavericks were willing to move Doncic, especially for as minimal a return as they got.

Following the game, Doncic’s fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, took to social media to celebrate his milestone. She reposted a Lakers' celebration post on her Instagram story, adding love emojis to show her support for her superstar partner. Doncic and Goltes, who announced their engagement in July 2023, share a daughter, Gabriella, born in December 2023.
