American rock climber Alex Honnold climbed the Taipei 101 skyscraper on Sunday without any ropes or protective equipment.

Organizers delayed professional rock climber Alex Honnold's ropeless ascent of the Taipei 101 skyscraper for 24 hours due to weather, they said.

Alex, a professional rock climber, is waiting to try and climb Taipei 101 in Taiwan's capital ... the skyscraper is 1,667 feet and 101 stories and Alex wants to climb it without the aid of ropes.
