The fall classic honoring the legendary New York punk mecca will take place under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn.

CBGB, the legendary birthplace of punk rock, may have closed in 2006 but its spirit is getting a jump-start with the CBGB Festival, presented in partnership with Bowery Presents, taking place September 27 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn,

The Lower Manhattan nightclub CBGB, one of the more important venues in the history of punk rock, has been defunct for years. But the CBGB name carries weight, and that name has once again been affixed to a music festival.
