LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police have shut down a section of 48th Street in northeast Lincoln early Monday morning. While the situation on scene has been active since 2:45 a.m., LPD now confirms they responded to an officer-involved shooting that happened at N. 48th and Orchard Street.

The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a shooting that involved its officers Monday morning. No one was injured, according to LPD. Officials said it happened near 48th and Vine Streets. As of 6:55 a.m., officers have the intersection of 48th and Holdrege shut down.
