Enzo Maresca has told Chelsea forward Pedro Neto that it will be "completely his decision" if he plays in Friday's Club World Cup quarterfinal against Palmeiras following the death of close friend and Portugal team-mate Diogo Jota.

Pedro Neto has paid an emotional tribute to Diogo Jota. The Liverpool striker and his brother Andre Silva died on Thursday (July 3) after a tyre blew out on their car, resulting in a crash when attempting to overtake on the A52, known as the Palacios de Sanabria, according to local police.
