CLEVELAND -- Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal will be joining three teammates in the 2025 All-Star Game on July 15 in Atlanta. To no one’s surprise, Skubal was added to the American League roster on Sunday evening. He joins outfielders Javier Báez and Riley Greene and second baseman Gleyber Torres, who were elected as starters by fans.

Given Skubal's brilliance this season (10-2, 2.02 ERA and a league-best 11.5 strikeouts per nine innings), the announcement was not a surprise.
