UFC Qatar results: Aleksandre Topuria stuns, beats Bekzat Almakhan
The brother of UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria displayed a well-rounded game on Saturday at ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar, claiming two of three rounds in the bantamweight contest for a unanimous decision victory by scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28.
Ismail Naurdiev scored the first finish of UFC Qatar when flatlined Ryan Loder with a perfect one-shot knockout.
Naurdiev (25-8) competed for the UFC from 2019-2020, going 2-2 as a welterweight before returning to the international scene and then being re-signed in 2024. Now set at 185 pounds, Naurdiev bounced back from a loss to Jun Yong Park to improve to 2-1 in his second UFC stint.
