Have you ever tried Haitian black rice? (Diri ak djon djon) I made this during the holidays and so many people were asking for a recipe so I’m sharing. I’m not Haitian, but I’m a purist when it comes to this rice. I don’t do substitutions or short cuts. I know the mushroom is quite pricey and can be hard to be source so I definitely understand using liquid or maggi, but whenever possible, I use the real thing!
